Comprehensive brand solution incorporating hundreds of brand and apparel applications
This particular challenge involved crafting the perfect suite of branding assets across all the logistical elements that a golf tour entails. The assets needed to champion the Steyn City brand, while giving equal market share to the partners of the event. We also had to ensure that these assets would be visible across television sets around the world.
It started with developing the right logo for the event, along with tone for all copy purposes. This was then rolled out first across a webpage dedicated to the event. From here it was executed across brochures, hole flags, welcome desks, umbrellas, golf carts, tournament boards, lower thirds for television, directional signage, flags, caps, golf balls and even gatehouses. The branding had to be perfect, and it had to be everywhere.
The results, within a limited space of time, was creative delivered across a broad scope of physical assets that over 40 million people viewed on live television, with 2000 spectators present on the days of the tournament, alongside the professional players
