Momentum Investments is a trusted firm that pioneered South African’s first behavioural investment platform. As part of educating their financial advisers and other relevant stakeholders about behavioural finance, they authored a white paper on how our emotions and perceptions can hurt our investments.

To many people, the technical content of the white paper was complicated, so Momentum was looking for a design solution that would entice people to start reading and then keep them engaged.

THE SOLUTION

At Amorphous we don’t make anything that isn’t beautiful, but beauty has to have meaning. In keeping with the theme of how our emotional reactions to our finances can have a negative impact on our wealth, we created a visual theme around rorschach (ink blot) imagery, making the link that what we perceive is not always true.
